Sheng-Hao Tseng received B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan in 1997, and M.S. degree in Electro-Optical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1999. He received Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Irvine in 2006 with emphasis on biomedical optics and spectroscopy. He worked at Johnson&Johnson Consumer & Personal Products Worldwide from 2007 to 2008 and was responsible for leading many projects in applying optical methods to study the interaction between cosmeceutical products and in-vivo skin. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Photonics of National Cheng-Kung University. He has worked closely with the dermatologists at the NCKU Hospital in applying noninvasive optical spectroscopy techniques for rapid and accurate skin diagnoses. His current research interests include diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and probe design for in-vivo skin property investigation.
