The optimization of decomposition parameters in the problem of selecting distant objects against a starry background based on motion blur (motion smear) is considered. It is shown that this problem is solved in three stages – detection, coordinates estimation, classification. Each of these stages has its own, different optimal ratio of pixel size and lens point spread function. The solution obtained is a specification of Johnson's criteria for the adopted useful signal and background models.

Sets out the principles and categorized the modern methods of adaptation of photosensor arrays and digital images encoding when changing multivariate statistics subjects. A functional diagram of a system for automatically controlling discrete states of a photodetector based on the results of evaluating one of the statistics is presented. A brief description of the main methods of adaptation of video information systems is presented. The block diagram of a multi-circuit adaptive video information system is given. The work of the adaptive system is illustrated by a time diagram on the example of the work of the spacecraft rendezvous control system.
