The hatches of airplanes and boats are made of Plexiglas. There are three types of stresses in the structure made of Plexiglas or glass. Those stresses are (1) residual stresses from the casting, (2) residual stresses due to manufacturing process involving sheet forming structure, and (3) the stresses from the serving period. The stresses and the testing method are studied by Isodyne method. Frequency domination phase shift method is presented to recognize scattered light patterns automatically for the directional Plexiglas plate and structure. The results show that the Isodyne method is a powerful tool of stress analysis for Plexiglas.
