The demand in the national standard is defined as the average power in the demand period. Both industry and power grid enterprise standards require that when the power flow direction of the voltage line is converted, the electric energy meter should start from the current moment and follow the demand period. In the case of frequent changes in the user load flow direction, the demand will frequently restart the measurement, which will result in inaccurate demand measurement. In the case of the implementation of the two-part electricity price, the demand is also the basis for calculating electricity charges. For this reason, the current demand in the electric energy meter is divided into 6 channels according to the direction: positive active, negative active, and four quadrants reactive. The 6 channels are independent of each other, and the demand measurement is carried out at the same time, which can solve the accuracy problem of demand measurement in the case of frequent load changes.
For a long time, the application of power electronic devices and the access of new energy have affected the power quality of power lines. With the high proportion of photovoltaic and other new energy access recently, the power quality level of power grid will be greatly affected. Electric energy measurement may be affected by various factors in this new environment, which is an important part to ensure the fairness and justice of electric energy transaction. Firstly, the possible power quality problems caused by the high proportion of new energy access are analysed; Secondly, the theoretical effects of harmonic, voltage and frequency deviation, voltage fluctuation and flicker, three-phase imbalance on electricity meters are also studied; Finally, the influence tests of each index are developed to verify the influence of power quality on electricity meters.
