I have shaped laser beam into different spatial modes basis such as Lagaurre-Gauss and Bessel-Gauss beams . I have studied the propagation of these modes in free space in classical and quantum systems for optical communication purposes. I have used different methods to detect these modes after propagaion even through optical turbulence and also used one of the detection tools for single pixel imaging of entangled photons.
