Abstract
In order to design a display architecture that can provide the ultimate MR comfort and immersion experience described in the previous chapter, the optical design task must be considered as a human-centric task. This section analyzes some of the specifics of the human vision system and how one can take advantage of them to reduce the complexity of the optical hardware, as well as the software architecture, without degrading in any way the user’s immersion and comfort experience.
