Abstract

Because of the levity of the marine environment and the limit of marine investigation, the continuous and synchronous data is difficult to obtain. Also because of the randomicity of the date, the navigation security is not satisfied. Therefore the processing and applying synthetically of marine environment information is of urgent. On the basis of electronic chart application system platform, the ocean environment information support system is designed and developed that utilizes the marine environment information. The ocean environment information needed by navigation and the navigation assistant decision-making function are provided by the system. And some key functions, such as setting initial course, marine environment isoline analysis, marine environment region partition, spring layer analysis and route environment analysis, are included in the latter function. The practical application of the system shows that it is easy to understood and analysed, and has valuable reference for navigation security.
