Abstract
The phase structure and phase transform were discussed on (alpha) -titanium thin foils after hydrogen absorption by XRD. The hydrogen concentration of TiHx was from X equals 0.27 to 1.87. It was found that with the increase of X the (alpha) -TiHx was gradually transformed into (gamma) -TiHx. The changes of phase transform ratio and the lattice parameters possessed of a similar relation with hydrogen concentration. The properties could be used for the detection of hydrogen sensor.
