Abstract
Scattering of multilayer mediums containing anisotropic material is analyzed with Fourier transformation techniques and matrix methods. A closed-form representation of the electromagnetic field over the anisotropic region are presented. Numerical results are presented and it agrees with the experiments. It can be used as a quasi-optical Faraday rotator for use as either an isolator or circulator.
