Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of positive psychological intervention based on PERMA model on the subjective wellbeing of nursing undergraduates. Methods Convenience sampling method was used to divide 72 sophomore nursing students into an intervention group of 36 people and a control group of 36 people. The control group participated in the routine daily activities of college students, and the intervention group received eight consecutive positive psychological workshops (interviews and exercises) based on the PERMA model. The subjective well-being index scale (IWB) was used to evaluate the effect before the intervention, at the end of the intervention, and one month after the end of the intervention. Results At the end of the intervention and one month after the end of the intervention, the total score of subjective wellbeing, emotional index, and life satisfaction scores of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the main effect of the intervention and the time effect of the total subjective well-being score and emotional index, and life satisfaction were statistically significant (P<0.05), and the interaction effect of the total subjective well-being score and emotional index was statistically significant (P<0.05). Scientific significance (P<0.05) Conclusion The positive psychological intervention based on the PERMA model can improve the subjective well-being of nursing undergraduates.
