Abstract
Deconvolved beamforming is a robust high-resolution beamforming method which yields narrow beam and low sidelobe. This paper describes the basic principles of Conventional BeamForming (CBF) and compares twelve different beamforming algorithms based on deconvolution, thus highlighting their commonalities and differences. Simulations and experiments comparing the accuracy of each algorithm on two-point coherent sources and one-point source with 56- element Multi-Arm Spiral Array (MASA), the influence of different signal frequency and distance between sensor and source on the identification performance of acoustic source is analyzed, the results suggest that CLEARN-PSF generally provides an improved spatial resolution and is more robust to any sources.
