Abstract
There has been a good foundation for the development of China's geographic information industry, but it still faces great challenges in focusing on the integration of the new generation of geographic information technology and geological survey business. By comparing the process of geo-information technology in the United States to change geological survey, this paper has systematically analyzed the 4 problems faced by China's geographic information industry under the background of a new round of strategic actions for prospecting breakthroughs, as well as the basic principles for the application of geographic information technology. Through in-depth study, the three trends in the integration of the new generation of geographic information technology and geological survey business have been pointed out. The paper believes that geographic information technology has a broad application prospect in geological prospecting, which provides technical support, services and guidance in intelligent prospecting and big data, and can greatly improve the efficiency of geological prospecting.
