Abstract
Runway capacity calculation is a relatively complex problem, yet calculating runway capacity is a key aspect of airport capacity assessment. In this paper, MATLAB software is used to implement the calculation of single runway take-off capacity, taking into account 10 parameters such as control rules, wind speed, length of common section and the time from aircraft instruction to taxiing to take-off position ready for taxiing and taking off. The formulae are used to calculate the value of the capacity of an aircraft taking off on a single runway for different types of aircraft or for the same type of aircraft. This software greatly reduces the amount of calculations for the staff and saves time in the design phase, which is of greater practical importance.
