Abstract
For the interaction of new media art, it is a comprehensive art design, which involves a wide range. In the traditional interactive design of new media art, objects and models are often used as display carriers, and the commonly used auxiliary display means are the combination of words and images. This simple static display with material form as the medium can no longer meet the needs of current new media display design. In this case, it is very important to pay attention to the application of new technologies in new media display design. In this case, it is an important task to research and develop a new display technology to meet the needs of new media. Therefore, virtual reality technology came into being. This paper studies the interactivity of new media art based on virtual reality technology. To realize the mutual combination of technology and art, it is necessary to accurately grasp the cultural connotation of virtual art in the new media environment, integrate excellent virtual technology and art, and organically combine it with the contemporary digital trend; and finally create works that not only meet the time but also meet the aesthetic needs of the masses and the development of the times.
