The full width rigid barrier impact test is introduced by Euro NCAP in 2015, with a Hybrid III 5th percentile female dummy seated in the front driver’s seat. According to the statistics of Euro NCAP frontal impact test results, the main injury of front row female dummy is concentrated in the chest. Through data analysis, it is concluded that there is a correlation between the force limit level of safety belt and Chest Compression and Viscous Criterion. According to Euro NCAP and C-NCAP test protocols, the model of the Hybrid III 5th percentile female dummy and Hybrid III 50th percentile male dummy on the front driver's seat are established respectively. The different injuries of the two dummies are compared. The influence of restraint system adjustment on the injury of female dummy is obtained. Improvement of the front female dummy protection performance is conducted by adjusting the restraint system parameters.
