Abstract
The paper presents a Pearson correlation analysis for temperature profiles between atmospheric radiosounding data (Yakutsk station, 62.08N, 129.75E, 103 m above sea level, WMO index 24959) and ERA-Interim reanalysis during the maximum development of major sudden stratospheric warming (SSW) for the period 2004-2019. The data of ERAInterim temperature profiles were selected at isobaric heights from 1000-1 hPa (37 levels in height) with a latitudinallongitudinal resolution of 1 x 1 degree. It is shown that there is a high correlation with the correlation coefficients R > 0,8 between the data of atmospheric radiosounding and reanalysis.
