Abstract
Experiment of x-ray generation in laser produced plasmas was initiated in the 1970s and extensive investigations of emission characteristics soft soft x-ray in ruby,Nd-YAG(or Nd-Glass),and CO laser system have been reported by several laboratories. In this paper,we present some emission characteristics of soft x-ray from the laser plasmas produced by iodine photodissociation laser(IPL, wavelength is 1.313μm).
